2. Stretch Between Action Items
You don’t need an intense workout every morning to benefit from movement.
Research consistently links regular physical activity with better cardiovascular health, metabolic health, mood, sleep, and cognitive function. Even shorter bouts of movement throughout the day count.
Walking after meals may be particularly useful because light activity can help moderate the rise in blood sugar that occurs after eating.
Try this: Take a short walk after lunch or dinner, stretch between meetings, take the stairs, or turn a phone call into a walking call.
The goal is less about creating the “perfect workout” and more about making movement part of your normal day.
