3. Jalapeño y Cucumber Spritz
This is the mocktail for people who say they don’t like mocktails because they’re “too sweet.”
Cucumber keeps things cool and refreshing. Jalapeño brings heat. Lime delivers acidity. Tonic adds bitterness and bubbles.
The result feels decidedly grown-up.
You’ll need:
- 4–5 cucumber slices
- 1–2 thin jalapeño slices
- ¾ oz fresh lime juice
- ½ oz agave syrup
- 4 oz tonic water
- Ice
- Cucumber ribbon and jalapeño for garnish
Make it:
Gently muddle the cucumber and one jalapeño slice with lime juice and agave.
Fill the glass with ice and top with tonic water.
Stir gently and garnish with a long cucumber ribbon and a fresh jalapeño slice.
Cucumber, lime, and jalapeño work particularly well in alcohol-free drinks because they deliver freshness, acidity, and heat rather than relying primarily on sweetness.
