Symptoms: What to Look Out For

ADHD looks different for everyone. Some people are hyper, others are quiet daydreamers. But in general, here are some signs to pay attention to:

Inattention

  • Constantly losing things (your wallet, phone, AirPods… every day)
  • Struggling to stay focused during conversations or tasks
  • Forgetting appointments or deadlines—even when you care
  • Zoning out in meetings or mid-conversation

Hyperactivity/Impulsivity

  • Fidgeting or needing to move constantly
  • Interrupting people (even if you don’t mean to)
  • Making impulsive decisions (3 a.m. online shopping spree)
  • Talking excessively or overthinking and feeling like your brain is “always on”

These behaviors aren’t just quirks. If they’re affecting your relationships, your job, or your mental health, it’s worth digging deeper.
