Sleep Disorders Symptoms
Signs You Might Have a Sleep Disorder
It’s easy to blame poor sleep to stress or a bad mattress, but if it’s happening often, there may be more going on. Here are some signs to look out for:
- You regularly take more than 30 minutes to fall asleep
- You wake up multiple times a night and can’t get back to sleep
- You feel tired even after 7–8 hours in bed
- You fall asleep during the day—at work, while driving, or in conversations
- You snore loudly or gasp for air in your sleep (a common sign of sleep apnea)
- You have trouble concentrating, remembering things, or managing your mood
If any of these feel familiar, it’s worth having a conversation with your doctor.
